St Francis Rangers F.C.

St Francis Rangers F.C. Crest St Francis Rangers FC was formed in June 2002 through the merger of St Francis FC and Ansty Rangers FC. The 2001/02 season had seen the clubs finish second and third bottom of the Sussex County League Third Division respectively. Following this, a series of quick merger talks saw the creation of the new club within four weeks.

The new club crest was designed by Jon Webb and chosen by the club's Executive Committee after it had reviewed many ideas.

Featuring a football (marking the sport played), the new club name and its initials, the Committee felt that the adopted design most clearly delivered the message of two rival clubs having been successfully merged into one. The club is now looking to achieve senior status football at The Princess Royal Hosptial within the next few years.

Thanks to Gary Lomas, Commercial Manager at St Francis Rangers FC, for the above crest and information.
