Dunbar United F.C.

Dunbar United FC Crest Dunbar United FC was formed in 1925 and currently plays in the Lothian League.

The town of Dunbar can be found 32 miles to the east of Edinburgh on the east Scottish coast. It has a population of around 6,000.

The club's crest is described by the club itself as "a simple one" but it is certainly also very eye-catching.

A fishing boat marks the fact that Dunbar is a fishing port while the dark clouds coming in from the east, the choppy sea and the seagulls following the boat, indicate that the weather is often stormy in the Dunbar area.

The crest is completed with the club name and its year of establishment.

The crest has undergone a number of minor changes since its creation in the early 1980s, but the theme of a fishing boat and stormy weather has always been present.

Thanks to Ali Paterson, Programme Editor at Dunbar United FC, for the above crest and information.
