Offerton Villa F.C.

Offerton Villa FC Crest The current crest of Offerton Villa FC was designed by Club Secretary, Oliver Byron, in 2004, as part of the club's preparations for entering the East Cheshire Football League.

The crest is an amalgamation of a new design and that of the Stockport School blazer badge, which most of the clubs players wore during their time there.

The original school badge also bears the phrase "Velis et remis“, meaning "with sails and oars". The football club committee, however, decided not to include this on the final design of its own crest.

Thanks to Oliver Byron, Club Secretary at Offerton Villa FC, for the above crest and information.
