Nundah Wavell All Churches S.C.

Nundah Wavell All Churches SC Crest Nundah Wavell All Churches SC is located in the northern suburbs of Brisbane, in the state of Queensland, Australia.

Along with six other Brisbane clubs, Nundah Wavell was a founding member of the Queensland Christian Soccer Association.

It was only in 2000, thirty years after its formation, that the club decided to create a crest to use as a visible presence within the local community and the QCS Association.

A competition was held within the club to design its first logo. The winning design (shown top right and now used by the club) was chosen as it outlined the name of the club in full, the club colours (green and yellow) and showed that the club is church affiliated.

In 2003, the Nundah Wavell men's first team - which plays in the Queensland Baptist Soccer Association - was awarded the Steve Medlin Memorial Trophy as the fairest team after it went through the entire season without picking up a single yellow or red card!

Thanks to Phil Bungey, Vice President at Nundah Wavell All Churches SC, for the above crest and information.
