Hvidovre IF

Hvidovre IF Crest/Logo Three times Danish champions (1966, 1973 and 1981), Hvidovre IF is based near the Danish capital city of Copenhagen.

The club crest / logo is a simple - but clever - design making use of the club initials "HIF" on a background of the club's primary colour - red.

"HIF" stands for "Hvidovre Idrætsforening" which translated into English means, "Hvidovre Athletic Association".

The club was founded in 1925 and it is believed that the current club crest was also created at around that time.

Thanks to Poul Werner Odér, Vice President and Webmaster at Hvidovre IF, for the above crest and information.
