Esbjerg f.B.

Esbjerg fB Crest/Badge Esbjerg fB (Esbjerg forenede Boldklubber) was formed on 23 July 1924 following a merger between Esbjerg Boldklub (1898) and Esbjerg Amatør Klub (1911).

These two local clubs had spent many years fiercely opposing each other and it was decided that by joining forces, the region would be represented by one strong club.

The current crest / logo of Esbjerg fB (shown above) was created around the same time as the new club, in 1924. Its simple design merely shows the club's initials in a unique font. This crest has not been used continuously by the club, however, having only been reintroduced as its official logo early in 2003.

Former Esbjerg fB Crest/Badge In fact, over the years, Esbjerg fB has used three different club crests. The most recent alternative (replaced by the club's reintroduced 'original' crest during 2003) consists of a blue football with the letters 'EfB' displayed in white (as shown left).

Thanks to Emily Kristensen, Administration Officer at Esbjerg fB, for the above crests and information.
