Vale View Shankill F.C.
Originally formed in 1923, Vale View Shankill FC was reformed in 1988 following a merger between Vale View FC and Shankill Youth Club.
Based in Shankill, Co. Dublin in the Republic of Ireland, the club's two senior teams currently play in the Leinster Senior League.
The club's crest was created in 1988 (at the time of the merger) and depicts the smelting chimney of the old lead mines, prominent in the hills behind the village.
A shield at the centre of the crest shows a footballer, representing the sport played by the club, while the full club name and its original year of formation are also displayed at the top and bottom of the crest respectively.
Thanks to Johnny Turner, Club Secretary at Vale View Shankill FC, for the above crest and information.
