Parramatta Power S.C.
Formed during early 1999, Parramatta Power SC lodged an application to join Australia's National Soccer League in May of that year and a month later found itself accepted as a new top-level club.
In just three months the Parramatta Power had to build a team worthy of the club's new status, attract sponsors, gain local support and create a club logo (crest).
From the provisional logo ideas, the 'two clasped hands' design was chosen as the club believed it represented a community based club, strength, unity and the "Power and the Passion" (the meaning of the two latin words displayed).
The logo (crest) is complemented with the club's year of formation and displayed in the Parramatta Power SC colours of blue and gold.
Thanks to David Mason, Media & PR Manager at Parramatta Power SC, for the above crest and information.
