Kildare County F.C.

Kildare County FC Crest & Badge Kildare County FC was formed as recently as March 2002 and, at the time of writing, is the Eircom League's newest club, playing its first match against Limerick FC on 6 July 2002.

The club crest shows a horse's head inside a football. A horse was chosen to represent the new club as the area where the club is based is known as 'The Thoroughbred County' while the football represents the sport played by the club. (The club also adopted 'The Thoroughbreds' as its official nickname.)

The crest also shows the full club name in a typical Gaelic style font.

Thanks to Ger McNally, Senior Sales Executive at Kildare County FC, for the above crest and information.
